“The hotel is in the old town, just a few minutes' walk from the Square and Astronomical Clock, the area's hub. Walk further to reach Charles Bridge, where you can join a canal boat trip (about 2.90 krone, including a drink) with good commentary from the captain. Excellent value. Many walking tours start from the square at 11am, some free, and one I joined included an authentic Czech lunch. The department store next to the hotel was handy for rolls and juice.”
